This past Sunday here in New York we had our first real dose of Spring. The sun was shinning and the temperature got above 60 degrees (yay!). As a lover of the outdoors that meant getting outdoors and soaking up some of those rays of sunshine. This is a season of family gatherings, holidays and showers among other social gatherings. Make your friends and family enjoy the warm spring weather by bringing the party outdoors. Check out these inspirational images for an outdoor spring brunch. We love the use of soft pastel colors against the natural backdrop. Unique features like egg cup vases add an element for discussion and easily pulled together from things you already have on hand.

Whether your Irish or not…whether you call it St. Patrick’s Day, St. Paddy’s Day or St. Patty’s Day…or whether you love shiny green and shamrocks or not…most of us will in some way pay tribute in feasting on corned-beef, cabbage and potatoes this week. There is nothing wrong with shiny green banners and dying everything green however for this month’s tablescape I wanted to draw in history and cultural elements of St. Patrick’s Day while keeping it classic. When you look at the elements you do not necessarily automatically think St. Patrick’s day but rather this feasting table reminisces of a dark pub with Medieval metals and natural elements.

Show your girlfriends how much you love and appreciate them this month by gathering together over a meal. This tablescape can provide some inspiration for you to get started.

We love the idea of setting a girlie tablescape while not completely subscribing to traditional Valentine’s Day decor. The pink runner and candles bring a touch of whimsy to this table while the milk glass and gorgeous blooms keep it traditional and classy. The individual bakers double as cute presentation for your food as well as place cards for your guests. The fun and unexpected element on this table is the DIY Starburst milk glasses with scattered heart paper straws. This tablescape is great for a Galentine’s Day brunch with the girls or even a bridal shower!

With the east coast being mid blizzard there is no better time to share this simple winter white tablescape. Creating an all white table is quick and easy to pull together. I created this using items that I had around the house. Check out my DIY snow globe tutorial here. The key to making it work is to utilize different shades of white and a variety of textures!January_Tablescape_1, winterJanuary_Tablescape_13, winterJanuary_Tablescape_14, winterJanuary_Tablescape_15, winterJanuary_Tablescape_16, winterJanuary_Tablescape_17, winterJanuary_Tablescape_7, winter
