1. What does an event designer do?

– Conceptualizes and articulates your desired vision into an event to be remembered

3. What is the difference between an Event Designer and an Event Planner?

An event designer is the professional who helps with the jaw dropping aesthetics. This is where the ‘wow’ factor comes in. An event designer has the ability to create things from scratch. Colors, décor, lighting and custom design elements are handled by this professional. An event designer works with you to develop your vision and is then there on the day of event to set up the details and to give your event a cohesive look and feel that matches everything that you have discussed. This will allow you to spend your valuable time on something else,  and will relieve you of the last minute stress of running around that often surrounds most events.


An event planner assists with the planning and logistics of your event. They deal with budget allocation, contract negotiations, timelines and vendor referrals. A planner’s role is to help you plan your event within budget and without forgetting anything important.
